Oramai tutti i commenti sono ripetitivi..

C'è chi critica la doppia nomination di Cate, soprattutto quella per The Golden Age.
Davvero non riesco a capirlo, solo a me è piaciuto il film? E poi lei è divina!
Sento già che non vincerà come protagonista (credo vinca la Cottilard, o la Christie) ma ci sono buone probabilità che vinca come non protagonista.

Schifato per la nomina a miglior film per Espiazione. Michael Clayton è un buon film ma ha ricevuto troppe nomination.
Dispiaciuto per la quasi assenza di Ridley Scott e il suo stupendo American Gangster.
Snobbato alla grande Burton, così come Cronenberg.
Contentissimo per Johnny Depp e Viggo Mortensen.

Dove. accidenti. è. Cronenberg?!
Assurdo, il suo è il più bel film del 2007!
Meno male che ci sono Mortensen e Tommy Lee Jones...

Peter, a me The Golden Age è piaciuto! Niente per cui strapparsi i capelli ma è un buon film in costume e Cate a mio parere lì è brava come sempre. Quindi non ci vedo nulla di male nella nomination, proprio nulla.. se dovessi scegliere la premierei per I'm not There perchè il ruolo è più particolare e sicuramente sarà ricordato, con o senza premio.. piuttosto, mi sarebbe piaciuta qualche altra nomination per I'm not There, sceneggiatura, regia, fotografia... vabbè...
Sono contenta anche per Ratatouille! E per Johnny.. cavolo, un bel premio per una volta ci può stare! Vai Johnny!

Ah, fanno giustamente notare dalle parti di cateblanchett.net che la nostra piccola secchiona è probabilmente l'unica attrice ad essere stata candidata due volte per lo stesso ruolo in Elizabeth e in The Golden Age!

In un altro forum sto litigando con una che mi insulta Cate e The Golden Age... nomination immeritata eccetera... ma và làààà!

Un po' di tempo fa un attore di teatro invidioso criticò l'incarico dato a Cate per la direzione della Sydney Theatre Company dicendo "Non basta un Oscar per dirigere il più grande teatro australiano!"

In una conferenza stampa chiesero a Geoffrey Rush cosa ne pensasse e lui rispose come avrebbe fatto Queen Elizabeth: "Behead him! (Decapitatelo!)"

Ecco, in certi casi dovremmo prendere esempio da Geoffrey nel difendere la nostra Regina..

E tra parentesi come mi piacerebbe poter rispondere a quel tipo: "Hai ragione, non basta un Oscar! Due sono meglio!"

Probabilmente Cate la spunterà, per uno dei due oscar... credo quello come miglior attrice non protagonista.
Se sarà così, secondo me dirà anche qualcosa su Heath...

Non capisco le critiche per la nomina per the golden age, per me è stata fantastica!! purtroppo non ho visto I'm not there quindi non posso dire quale premio si meriterebbe di più, ma io glieli darei tutti e due
Tra gli attori protagonisti vedo Daniel Day-Lewis molto quotato, mentre al posto di Michael Clayton come miglior film avrei messo La promessa dell'assassino, ma sempre seguendo le varie criticche che ho letto e sentito perchè purtroppo a parte Epiazione e MC gli altri ancora non sono usciti.
