La notizia è riporata anche qui:
CITAZIONE
Cate Blanchett is set to direct her first full-length production with "The Year of Magical Thinking" in her first season as co-artistic director of the Sydney Theater Co. The Oscar winning star will also be joining the cast of a new adaptation of William Shakespeare's "The War of the Roses" play cycle. Starring in ‘Magical Thinking’ will be artistic director Robyn Nevin, reports Variety.

La nomina di Cate è stata già criticata dall'attore Colin Moody (http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5jROqI1...jhwOijoVDbhMUvg):
CITAZIONE
"An Oscar for acting is not a suitable recommendation to run the biggest theatre company in the country," said disgruntled actor Colin Moody.

Blanchett's "Elizabeth" co-star and fellow Australian Geoffrey Rush, who was at the news conference, also had a suggestion on how the long-reigning British monarch would have dealt with the controversy.

"Behead him!" he said.
